Alabama is clearly Trump country.
The President and First Lady attended a football game at the University of Alabama this weekend and the crowd went wild with cheers.
From USA Today:
President Trump overwhelmingly cheered during Alabama-LSU football game
President Donald Trump’s most recent pair of appearances at major sporting events did not reflect well on his public popularity.
Trump was booed at Game 5 of the World Series when the Washington Nationals hosted the Houston Astros at the end of October. Trump then attended UFC 244 in New York and received a mixed response last weekend.
He was hoping to find some love Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium where the top two teams college football were meeting.
Based on Saturday’s response from the majority of those at the showdown between Alabama and LSU, Trump was in friendly territory.
With 12:10 showing on the first quarter clock during a timeout on the Crimson Tide’s initial drive, President Trump and his wife, Melania, were shown on the stadium jumbotrons. The partisan crowd erupted in an extended applause that left Trump looking somewhat surprised by it’s fervor and duration.

I don’t care about the president being booed in Washington DC
This is how real America feels about @realDonaldTrump
Incredible!
Will the MSM report on this as extensively as they reported on the Nationals game?
RT so they can’t ignore!

Trump is welcomed with open arms at the LSU vs. Alabama game.
In DC, he was booed at the Nationals game.
A pretty great example of the DC resistance bubble. pic.twitter.com/T3v5D1Tiut

The media will be so sad about this.
