Maxine Waters’ Campaign Wrote Off $10,000 Show Tickets As Fundraiser Expense

Maxine Waters shoots her mouth off constantly as if she’s some model of virtue. The truth is that she’s as corrupt as any of the other dwellers in the DC swamp. Her campaign spent ten thousand dollars on tickets for the “Hamilton” show and wrote off the expense as part of fundraising.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Maxine Waters’ campaign committee wrote off $10,000 spent on ‘Hamilton’ tickets as a fundraiser expense

Rep. Maxine Waters’ campaign committee reportedly paid $10,000 for tickets to the Broadway smash hit “Hamilton” and wrote the payment off as a fundraiser expense.

Citizens for Waters paid for tickets on Aug. 26, according to a Federal Election Commission report of receipts and disbursements.

A representative of the California Democrat, a strident opponent of President Trump, told the Washington Examiner it was “not unusual” for members of Congress to spend money on fundraising events to generate excitement and revenue for their upcoming campaigns.

This woman gets to hide behind a compliant media because she’s a Democrat who despises Trump. That’s the only reason she’s able to get away with this.

Ticket Fulfillment Services LP, the recipient listed on the form, did not immediately return a request for comment.
