CNN has become completely unwatchable in recent years, unless you have a pathological hatred of Trump.
The network has lost a massive number of viewers as a result, and has also become a joke among conservatives on social media.
One of the most cringe-worthy hosts on CNN is Brian Stelter, but that might not be the case for too much longer.
Rumor has it that Stelter is on his way out the door.
John Nicosia, who used to be an editor for Mediaite and knows many people in the business, is saying that according to his sources, Stelter is almost finished.
SOURCE(S): "Brian Stelter's days are numbered with the network." Discovery management "very much considers him a Zucker henchmen and embarrassment" and believes he is "a negative partisan lighting rod and distraction going forward" /more to come.

It all makes sense when you look at the ratings. FOX News is still crushing CNN.
From FOX News:
Fox News crushes CNN, MSNBC to finish with cable news’ largest audience for 81st straight quarter
Fox News finished the first quarter of 2022 as basic cable’s most-watched network, crushing CNN and MSNBC for the 81st straight quarter during a busy news cycle that included Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and round-the-clock political news.
Americans flocked to Fox News for the latest news and analysis, as the network averaged 1.6 million total-day viewers, a 22% increase compared to the first quarter of last year, while MSNBC and CNN both lost viewership. MSNBC averaged 712,000 viewers, shedding 48% of its audience compared to last year, and CNN averaged only 653,000 for a 51% year-over-year drop.
It was the fourth straight quarter that Fox News outdrew all other basic cable offerings.
Fox News also thumped cable news competition during the primetime hours of 8-11 p.m., averaging 2.5 million viewers for a 3% rise compared to last year while MSNBC averaged 1.2 million for a 46% decline. CNN’s primetime lineup of Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon continues to struggle, averaging only 857,000 viewers for a whopping 56% free fall compared to last year.
If it’s true that Brian Stelter is going to be cut from CNN, it won’t be a surprise.
There are YouTube channels that get far more views than his show.
