Michael Moore Gets Torched By Liberals For Saying Joe Biden Is This Year’s Hillary Clinton

The left is not happy with Michael Moore.

During a recent appearance on MSNBC, the left wing filmmaker suggested that the Democratic base would not be excited by Joe Biden’s candidacy because he is this year’s Hillary Clinton.

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore says Democratic presidential front-runner Joseph R. Biden is too much like twice-failed candidate Hillary Clinton to win the 2020 election against President Trump.

“I don’t even want to say it out loud,” the “Fahrenheit 11/9” director told MSNBC on Tuesday. “Joe Biden is the center. Joe Biden is this year’s Hillary. Joe Biden is not going to excite the base to get out there and vote on November 3rd, 2020.”

Mr. Moore, who was one of the few prominent voices to correctly predict a 2016 election victory for Mr. Trump, said the Democratic nominee would have to be able to mobilize women, people of color and young people in order to beat the president in 2020. He’s previously expressed support for candidates Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernard Sanders of Vermont.

As you can imagine, these comments did not sit well with many on the left.

Liberal Twitter torches Michael Moore for comments about Biden

Twitter was ablaze with criticism after filmmaker Michael Moore compared Joe Biden to failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Moore, 65, known for his liberal activism and documentary films, appeared Tuesday as a guest on MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber, where the host asked about his views on Joe Biden and how well the Democratic front-runner was handling recent controversy involving Ukraine and his son.

Moore said that he didn’t think Biden was going to excite the Democratic base, citing the younger demographic who is expected to vote in the 2020 elections.
