Michelle Obama Sometimes “Not Emotionally Able To Deal With” The News

According to her, life under President Trump is just too disappointing.

Former first lady Michelle Obama compared life in America under President Trump to living with a “divorced dad,” according to The Independent.

“For anyone who had any problems with Barack Obama, let’s just think about what we were troubled by – there were never any indictments,” she said during an interview with late-night host Stephen Colbert in London while promoting her memoir “Becoming,” according to the publication.

She then joked that the U.S. under Trump’s presidency was akin to a teenager.

“We come from a broken family, we are a little unsettled,” Obama said. “Sometimes you spend the weekend with divorced dad. That feels like fun but then you get sick. That is what America is going through. We are living with divorced dad.”

Obama added that she recently she has struggled to watch the news and has had to learn to pace herself.

“When I am not emotionally able to deal with it I turn it off for a moment,” she told Colbert. “I only let some of that stuff into my world when I’m ready. You can’t have a steady diet of fear and frustration coming in.”

Michelle was on a luxury dinner cruise in Paris this week. What a difficult life she has.

MICHELLE OBAMA DINNER CRUISE VIBES TURN TO CONCERN During Notre Dame Inferno

Michelle Obama was living the good life — sipping wine on a dinner cruise in Paris — when the Notre Dame Cathedral fire totally changed the mood … and the course of the cruise.

The former First Lady was smiling as she boarded the Ducasse sur Seine Monday night — just across from the Eiffel Tower — for a dinner cruise experience along the Seine River with famous chef Alain Ducasse and others.

Michelle looked fit for a fancy, fun night on the luxury ship … but things took a turn for the worse when word got around Notre Dame was going up in flames. As you can see in the pics … everybody’s happy faces turn concerned for the famed cathedral and the people of Paris.

How awful that the Notre Dame fire interrupted her outing.
