Mark your calendars now, folks. On Tuesday February 7th at 9 PM on CNN Ted Cruz will debate Bernie Sanders on the future of Obamacare. This will probably be the highest rated night on CNN in years.
The Hill reports:
Sanders, Cruz to face off in debate over future of ObamaCare
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) will go to battle next week in a debate over the future of ObamaCare.
Sanders and Cruz, who both ran for their party’s nomination in the 2016 presidential race, will square off in a debate airing on CNN next Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 9 p.m.
The debate will be moderated by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. The debate comes as Republicans in Congress craft a plan to repeal and replace former President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law.
Can. Not. Wait. To see this.
Bernie Sanders has been pushing for a total government takeover of healthcare in the form of a public option. Ted Cruz has been one of Obamacare’s fiercest critics and completely opposes the idea of government run healthcare.
This will be the political policy equivalent of a cage match to the death. Think of Thunderdome. Two men enter, one man leaves. They better have medical staff on site.
