New Poll Finds Trump’s Approval Rating On Economy Jumps To New High

The American people are giving President Trump high marks for the way he is handling the economy. It’s not that surprising, considering the historically low unemployment rate.

The percentage of Americans who approve of President Trump’s handling of the economy has reached a new high, according to a poll released Monday.

The Gallup poll found 53 percent of those surveyed approve of the president’s handling of the issue, up 3 percentage points from a poll conducted in August. This month’s figure marks Trump’s best approval rating on the economy, up from the previous high of 51 percent.

Gallup said the average approval rating on the economy for all presidents from Ronald Reagan through Barack Obama was 45 percent.

The Trump administration routinely points to glowing unemployment and jobs numbers as evidence of its success.

While a majority gives Trump positive marks on the economy, less than half of voters approve of his handling of foreign affairs, immigration and health care, according to Gallup.

On foreign affairs, 40 percent approve of Trump’s performance while 56 percent disapprove.

Isn’t it interesting how the liberal media typically doesn’t want to talk about the economy? They would much rather discuss things they believe make Trump look bad. It’s so obvious.
