California Governor Gavin Newsom is obviously feeling the pressure of his upcoming recall election.
During a recent call with members of the press which was captured on video, an angry Newsom is seen lashing out at reporters.
He tries to convince them of the positive things he thinks they should be emphasizing in their reporting.
In a word, he looks panicked.

Gavin Newsom Blows Up On Reporters: “Everybody Outside This State Is Bitching About This State”
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), who is facing a recall election, is interviewed by “The Sacramento Bee.” Newsom defended his tenure by telling Florida and Texas to “eat their heart out” over the job creation in California.
“It would be nice if our homegrown team would be focusing on what’s right. Everybody outside this state is bitching about this state,” Newsom ranted to the writers.
“Guys, forgive me, I know I am a little pointed today but I’ve been taking a lot from you folks for a lot of months,” Newsom said gesturing toward the reporters behind the camera. “I should be able to express myself, too.”

He doesn’t seem very calm or confident, does he? There’s a good reason for that. Larry Elder is right on his heels.

How dumb does @GavinNewsom think we are? His policies fueled the surge in homelessness. The polls scare him so he stages photo ops (same for wildfires!).
Pretending to clean up your mess won’t save you, Gavin. The people want a problem solver. https://t.co/mnvU6s5Wid https://t.co/XOK4yVukCY— Larry Elder (@larryelder) August 10, 2021
The recall election is just about a month away now.
Newsom isn’t acting like a man who thinks his chances are good.
