A new poll from Rasmussen finds that 58 percent of likely voters believe the media are the enemy of the people.
It makes perfect sense. With very few exceptions, the media now acts as an advocate for the Democrats and the far left.
Terms like media bias no longer even come close to describing haw awful they are.
The Washington Examiner reports:
True: 58% agree media are the ‘enemy of the people,’ 83% hit ‘fake news’
President Joe Biden’s election might have made the media feel good, but it’s done very little for the industry’s reputation with news consumers.
In the latest demonstration of the difficulties the news media face, a sizable 58% of likely voters told Rasmussen Reports that they believe the media are “truly the enemy of the people,” a phrase coined by former President Donald Trump.
Some 46% disagreed, but the highest number (34%) said that they “strongly agree” with Trump.
As with similar surveys during the Trump era, Democrats believe the media far more than Republicans. Now, 56% of Democrats “trust” the news they receive versus 58% of Republicans who don’t.

37% say they trust the political news they’re getting, compared to 43% who don’t trust it. 20% are not sure.
54% believe that most reporters who write or talk about President Joe Biden are attempting to help him pass his agenda.
The media did this to themselves.
In the span of less than a decade, they have burned their credibility to the ground.
