REPORT: John Brennan Met With House Democrats After Mueller Investigation Ended

Former CIA director and Russia conspiracy theorist John Brennan, reportedly met with House Democrats after the conclusion of the Mueller Investigation. What do you think they talked about?

The Washington Examiner has the story:

John Brennan huddled with Democrats after Mueller investigation ended

Former CIA Director John Brennan reportedly huddled with a group of House Democrats this week.

An official told Fox News that Brennan discussed a number of issues during the Thursday meeting on Capitol Hill with House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., and other members of his caucus, including national security.

Although the “Leader’s Council” meeting took place after special counsel Robert Mueller completed his Russia investigation and submitted his final report to the Justice Department on Friday, the source said it was scheduled long before it was known Mueller was wrapping up.

The meeting also came one day after Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., tweeted that a “high-level source” told him that Brennan, while serving as CIA director under former President Barack Obama, “insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report” and called for Brennan to be called to testify before Congress “ASAP.”…

A commentator for MSNBC, Brennan has criticized Trump and talked about his belief there was collusion in “plain sight” between the president and Russia. He also called Trump’s behavior “treasonous.”

Brennan could find himself in a lot of trouble now that the Mueller fallout is coming.

FOX News reports:

Rand Paul: ‘Source’ says John Brennan pushed discredited Steele dossier

Citing a “high-level source,” Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul charged in a bombshell Twitter post late Wednesday that anti-Trump ex-CIA Director John Brennan “insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier” be included in a classified intelligence community report on Russian interference in the 2016 elections — a decision that ultimately lent credibility to the dossier and may have played a key role in fomenting unfounded fears of Russia collusion for two years.

Paul called on Brennan to testify under oath immediately, as Republicans continue to aggressively seek out the origins of the collusion narrative. Fox News had not independently verified Paul’s source, and Brennan has not replied to Fox News’ requests for comment.

Might be time for Mr. Brennan to hire a good lawyer.
