REPORT: Man Arrested For Making Death Threat Against Rep. Matt Gaetz Worked For Jimmy Kimmel And CNN

A California man has been arrested for making vile, death threats against Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz.

Authorities have apparently known who this man was for a while now, but it just became public this week.

One shocking (or maybe not so shocking) aspect of this man’s background is that he has worked for Jimmy Kimmel, CNN, and other news media outlets.

Politico reports:

Authorities arrested Eugene Huelsman, 58, of Thousand Oaks, last week in the Los Angeles area on an indictment returned in May by a federal grand jury in Pensacola, Fla., court records show.

Federal prosecutors say that on Jan. 9, Huelsman called the office of someone described in the indictment solely as “M.G.” and issued threats to him and his family.

“Tell [M.G.] to watch his back, tell him to watch his children,” Huelsman allegedly said, according to the indictment. “I’m coming for him… I’m gonna f—ing kill him… I’m gonna put a bullet in you and I’m gonna put a bullet in one of your f—ing kids too.”

In the video below from Tucker Carlson, you can hear the actual recording of the threatening call:
