Reportedly, the Trump administration has ordered that fake news be turned off government TVs.
Only Fox News is allowed to be displayed.
A Buzzfeed reporter got hold of an email to FDA employees that reads:
Good Morning, CBER Researchers,
Please excuse me for sending this out to your entire group via your listserv, but I was alerted by a member in your group and I wanted to let everyone know that the reason for the change from CNN to FOX.
The reason for the change is that a decision from the current administration administrative officials has requested that all monitors, under out control, on the White Oaks Campus, display FOX news.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but I am unable to change any of the monitors to any other news sources at this time.
Someone at CBER sent me the email which told staff TVs had been switched to Fox News by order of the admin pic.twitter.com/rsCzpOtdpv

However, the FDA sent out a sort of “denial:”

But, as one reporter noted, the denial says “broadcast” news channels – not cable channels:
@ErikWemple “broadcast” news channels. Hmmmm

If it is true, here are some tweets from Trump that may explain the reason why:
.@CNN is so embarrassed by their total (100%) support of Hillary Clinton, and yet her loss in a landslide, that they don’t know what to do.

.@CNN is so disgusting in their bias, but they are having a hard time promoting Crooked Hillary in light of the new e-mail scandals.
