Secretary Of State Update: Kellyanne Says Process Is “VERY DONALD TRUMP” (VIDEO)

There have been many interviewees for the Secretary of State position. Former politicians (Rohrabacher, Romney, Giuliani, Bolton). A former general (Petraeus). Former CEOs (Mulally, Tillerson).

And the announcement will be made next week.

Today on CNN’s New Day, Kellyanne Conway did an update on Trump’s search for the next Secretary of State.

Kellyanne: “It’s a fascinating way of approaching such an incredibly important job. And it’s very Donald Trump to have a number of people in. Not make it a cage match between two people played out on cable TV. That would be ridiculous. It’s the Secretary of State position. Instead, having that wide berth. Taking his time. And recognizing that we’re way ahead of schedule with our Cabinet appointees. When you compare us to past Administrations, Republican and Democrat.”

And then the CNN host asked Kellyanne to talk more about Mitt Romney.

Here was Kellyanne’s response:

Kellyanne is right . . . There has been a lot of grassroots “blowback” on Romney. Romney was disloyal. Romney was nasty toward Trump.

But Trump cares more about the country than personal insults.

Who will be Secretary of State?
