With the Trump Inauguration just around the corner, there’s a lot of speculation about Trump’s political appointments.
We reported yesterday on Trey Gowdy possibly being Attorney General. And there are many other important appointments Trump will make.
None are more important than the Supreme Court. After all, Franklin Graham said this election came down to one thing: The Supreme Court. He’s right.
Now, it’s time to get a Conservative on the Supreme Court.
Today, law professor and Instapundit blogger Glenn Reynolds suggested Ted Cruz would be the obvious choice for Supreme Court.
“Isn’t Ted Cruz the obvious Supreme Court pick for Trump? Trump owes him (there may even be a deal, like with Ike and Earl Warren), the Senate will confirm (partly out of Senatorial courtesy and partly to get rid of him) and whoever replaces him in Texas will be a Republican and, if it’s handled properly, grateful to Trump for the opening.”
Great points, all.
What do you think? Ted Cruz for the Supreme Court?
