Donald Trump made a major play to black voters during a speech in Michigan on Friday by pointing out how the Democratic Party has failed them.

Donald Trump on Friday continued his outreach to African-American voters, presenting them with a stark question: “What the hell do you have to lose?”
Speaking in Dimondale, Michigan — a predominantly white suburb of Lansing — Trump lamented the collapse of American manufacturing and criticized free trade deals as he laced into Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party, saying they are taking black voters for granted.
“You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58% of your youth is unemployed — what the hell do you have to lose?”

Trump is exactly right. The Democratic Party takes advantage of black voters every four years then ignores them until the next election.
Furthermore, unemployment among African Americans has risen dramatically during Obama’s presidency.
Trump is offering real change which will benefit all Americans, including black people.
