In one of the best moments of the Monday night rally in El Paso, Texas, Trump compared the ‘Green New Deal’ from Alexandria Ocasio Cortez to a high school term paper. This is pretty funny.
The New York Post reported:
Trump: Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Green New Deal’ sounds like a ‘high school term paper’
President Trump blasted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal as a flunky high school idea Monday night, prompting the Bronx congresswoman to mock the president’s intellect.
Trump was holding a rally in El Paso, where he said Ocasio-Cortez’s signature plan to combat climate change “sounds like a high school term paper that got a low mark.”
Trump claimed the plan would mean taking away cars, tearing down buildings and shutting down air travel.
“How do you take a train to Europe?” Trump joked at his rally in Texas.

Of course, Ocasio Cortez was pretty angry about this remark but that’s only because the truth hurts. The Green New Deal is so far out that many Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi have dismissed it.
It’s not even a plan. It reads like a progressive wish list on everything from climate change to the economy. It seems more like a plan to turn America socialist than a solution to environmental problems.
