Trump Stands By Attorney General William Barr: “Total Confidence” (VIDEO)

For the last couple of weeks, left wing activists and their media allies have been targeting Attorney General William Barr.

They have led a concerted effort to get Barr to resign. They claim it is over the sentencing recommendation for Roger Stone. In reality, it is just the latest outrage of the week.

People on the left hate Barr because he is effective and a good ally for Trump.

Trump knows this and is standing by Barr completely.

He was recently asked by a reporter if he had confidence in Barr and said he has “total confidence.”

Trump says he has ‘total confidence’ in Barr

President Trump said Tuesday that he had “total confidence” in Attorney General William Barr and acknowledged that he makes his top law enforcement officer’s job “harder” with his tweets.

“I have total confidence in my attorney general,” Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews. “I think he is doing an excellent job.”

Trump also defended his tweets about the criminal case against his longtime associate, Roger Stone, which caused Barr to make a rare and public statement last week urging Trump to stop tweeting about Justice Department cases.

“Somebody has to stick up for the people,” Trump told reporters, referring to Stone and other associates he believes have been mistreated by federal prosecutors. “My social media is very powerful.”

The spokesperson for the Department of Justice has released this statement:

Barr is an excellent Attorney General for Trump.
