Trump is thinking three moves ahead on economic recovery.
While there has been talk of more stimulus related to the Coronavirus crisis, Trump is now suggesting it should be based on infrastructure.
Donald Trump: Phase Four of Coronavirus Rescue Should Be $2 Trillion Infrastructure Bill
President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that he wanted Congress to pass a $2 trillion infrastructure bill to strengthen the economy during the coronavirus crisis.
“With interest rates for the United States being at ZERO, this is the time to do our decades long awaited Infrastructure Bill,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
The president described the proposed bill as “Phase 4” and proposed spending another $2 trillion on replacing infrastructure.
“It should be VERY BIG & BOLD, Two Trillion Dollars, and be focused solely on jobs and rebuilding the once great infrastructure of our Country!” he wrote.

Not only can we repair roads, bridges and more, it will mean jobs for people who need them.
With everything shut down is there a better time to have crews working on our roads and bridges? If we can isolate them from the virus we can get a lot of badly needed infrastructure improvements done over the next month with few on the road. It’d help support a lot of jobs too.

Trump has called for a trillion dollar infrastructure bill since 2016
The coronavirus pandemic, in which 3 mil Americans have filed for unemployment, would be the perfect time to revisit and would likely include bipartisan support in the Phase 4 stimulushttps://t.co/6c0ay7ob5y

We certainly will need to put people back to work.
