UTTER DISGRACE: Democrats Are Blocking Coronavirus Relief In The Senate

Millions of Americans are suffering right now. There is fear about the immediate future and Republicans in the Senate are doing their best to help but are being blocked by Democrats.

What the Democrats are doing here is disgusting. There is no other way to put it.

They care more about control than they do about the well being of Americans.

Senate Democrats block $1.8 trillion coronavirus aid bill

Senate Democrats on Monday blocked a cloture vote that would have allowed a $1.8 trillion coronavirus stimulus package to advance for a full vote in the upper chamber.

The vote to end debate on the massive package failed because 60 votes were needed and just one Democrat, Alabama’s Doug Jones, voted aye, with the final tally 49 to 46.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) needed 60 votes to end debate on the bill and allow it to go to a full vote in the Senate, which means at least 12 Democrats would have to have joined all Republicans in voting in favor.

The sweeping bill, meant to offset the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, was blocked Sunday night by Democrats who said the package did not do enough to protect American workers and was essentially a slush fund for the GOP’s spending.

Democrats are holding up this process because they want to pack the legislation with tons of their pet issues. They see this as a political opportunity, nothing more. And what do they want?

Here is the Far-Left Wish List Nancy Pelosi Just Blew Everything Up For

According to a source close to the process on Capitol Hill, in order to move forward with any kind of relief package, Pelosi and her far-left Democrat caucus will demand the following be included:

-Publication of corporate pay statistics by race and race statistics for all corporate boards

-A bail out on all current debt at the Postal Service

-Required early voting

-Required same day voter registration

-Provisions on official time for union collective bargaining

-Full offset of airline emissions by 2025

-Publication and reporting of greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights

-Retirement plans for community newspaper employees

-Federal $15 minimum wage

-Permanent paid leave

-Study on climate change mitigation efforts

This might eventually reach a breaking point.

If it does, it won’t be pretty.
