Democrats are clearly taking their impeachment show very seriously.
You can tell because Rep. Katie Hill of California showed up for work on Thursday, the day Democrats were voting to authorize their impeachment inquiry, as Batgirl.
The Hill reports:
Lawmaker shows up to work wearing Batgirl costume
Rep. Katie Porter (D-Calif.) wore a Batgirl Halloween costume to work on Thursday.
Porter tweeted a picture of herself seated in Congress while wearing the costume.
“Taking my work in Congress seriously doesn’t mean I take *myself* too seriously,” she wrote.
“To my kids Luke, Paul, and Betsy, I’m still just Mom—seeing the Bat Signal on Halloween & putting on a goofy costume come with the territory,” the freshman lawmaker added. “Stay safe trick-or-treating tonight, everyone!”

Republicans pointed out how absurd this was:

It’s pretty sad, isn’t it?
Rep. #katieporter dressing up like Batman is making as ass out of herself in front of the American public. This is so embarrassing as the world looks on. #ImpeachmentIsComing #diplomats
