White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki Gets Caught In Her Own ‘Misinformation’ Trap

Jen Psaki said this past week that the Biden administration is working with social media companies to combat supposed misinformation.

She also said that if a person pushes information and gets banned from one social media site, they should get banned from all of them.

Does that rule apply to her too?

Jen Psaki Gets Caught up in Her Own Call to Ban ‘Misinformation’

Yesterday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki picked up her rhetorical hammer and sickle and announced to the world anyone who spreads “misinformation” (i.e. anything Democrats don’t like) should be banned from all social media platforms. The comment went viral, raising all kinds of eyebrows.

After all, what business does the White House have telling social media companies who to ban? And by what authority do Joe Biden and company get to decide what is or isn’t misinformation? Jen Psaki’s authoritarian demand was clearly another attempt to subvert the First Amendment by proxy.

Of course, it only took a few hours for Psaki’s own past history of spreading disinformation, not just misinformation, to catch up with her.

Psaki and a range of other Democrat figures rushed to defend Hunter Biden in the waning days of the 2020 campaign, asserting that the incriminating laptop in question was actually “Russian disinformation.” As an aside, imagine going to bat and lying for a scumbag like Hunter Biden, but I digress.

Check out this October 2020 tweet from Psaki. This is misinformation.

Should Psaki be banned from all social media? That’s their rule, right?

Democrats need to be made to live by their own ridiculous rules.
