WHY? CNN Brings On Left Wing Actor Sean Penn To Discuss Coronavirus Crisis (VIDEO)

CNN did a town hall event focused on the Coronavirus on Thursday night, which featured talks with various officials and experts.

At one point, they brought on actor Sean Penn, apparently because he did some work with the U.S. military in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake there.

He still seemed like an odd choice for this event.

About Haiti, he said:

“There were the Army Corps of Engineers, we had an extraordinary amount of help from them deploying doctors all over the country from the military and the 82nd Airborne in particular with access to helicopters.”

Basically, Penn is advocating for the U.S. Military to assume operations during this crisis. That seems like an odd suggestion coming from someone as widely known as left wing.
