Mitt Romney is on Trump’s short list to be Secretary of State.
A lot of people aren’t happy about it.
After all, Romney undercut Trump every chance he had in the primary. Romney waged a personal war on Trump.
Here’s an example of Mitt’s tweets during the primary season:

There are many more.
Beyond his personal attacks on Trump, Conservatives say Romney is a bad policy choice.
Romney wants bad things in the Middle East:
Mitt Romney SUPPORTS regime change in Syria.
He is more concerned about toppling Assad than eliminating ISIS.#NeverRomney

And Trump has himself said in the past “don’t reward” Romney for his actions:

Mike Cernovich, with 170,000 Twitter followers, says a Romney appointment would be a bridge too far:
It is. Romney gets Secretary of State and I’m out. It’s a betrayal of every principle I hold dear. Fought to hard to see traitors rewarded. https://t.co/odJHiAcnIZ

In a message to these critics, Kellyanne Conway tweeted this out this morning: “Receiving deluge of social media & private comms re: Romney Some Trump loyalists warn against Romney as sec of state”:

The Trump camp is listening!
What will Trump do? Will he do what the grassroots says? Will he drop Romney?
Here’s what Bill Mitchell says:
Here’s my take. Trump values loyalty above all else. Knowing that, a Romney pick would surprise me. However, I would support his call.

We know Trump has a great strategic mind and sees things others don’t. We know he has information we don’t. Give him a chance.

What do you think?
Romney or not?
